A brief history

The Centre for Air and Space Policy (CASP) was founded in 2024, to address the increasing need for research, advocacy, and strategic guidance in the rapidly evolving domains of air and space law and policy. As air travel expanded and space exploration transitioned from state-led initiatives to include private sector ventures, the demand for specialized policy frameworks became more critical. 

CASP continues to play a pivotal role in shaping policies that balance technological advancements, economic growth, and the sustainability of air and space environments.

Where we are today

The Centre for Air and Space Policy (CASP) stands at the forefront of research, advocacy, and innovation in the interconnected fields of aviation and space policy. Today, CASP team members are recognized as a leading think tank, shaping discourse and driving solutions on critical issues such as:

  • Consumer Protection in Aviation: Promoting Law, Regulations and policies to educate consumer rights in air travel.

  • Space Governance: Addressing challenges like orbital debris, satellite regulation, and the peaceful use of outer space.
